  Haraju-Cube Japanese Honey Toast
visited Haraju-Cube some time ago because i've seen some photos of it on Instagram and thought it looked pretty yummy ! plus , i love bread and all sorts of carbs so how could i not go HAHAHA . went at around 5pm on a Saturday but they said it was their break so we had to wait half an hour till they reopened :/

the place was really spacious with good lighting and simple designs .

our food came pretty late :(

basically , Haraju-Cube serves Japanese style thick toast cubed into little pieces and drizzled in honey . i'm a huge fan of bread and all other food with flour so i thought i would love it

anyway , we ordered Choco-Dip , which costs RM26.90 , pretty pricey i would say , so i had high expecations of it . presentation was really unique as it was served on a chopping board with a steak knife ahaha

sliced it open and here's what it looked like ! it looks really nice but in all honesty , it wasn't all that great taste-wise . no matter how much honey i drizzled , the toast seemed to remain tasteless and to top it off , the ice-cream was equally disappointing . i couldn't even recognize what flavour the ice-cream was ???? was it vanilla ? corn ? banana ? idek lol , it was tasteless . too much whipped cream too . only thing i liked about the whole thing was the Loacker wafer cubes .... even then , with the money i paid for this thick toast , i could've bought two large bags of the chocolate wafers :/

in conclusion , my verdict is don't pay so much just to eat this , there are similar cafe's out there which tastes way better . this may look good but it's definitely not worth a price close to RM30 . i expected so much more from this cafe but it left me disappointed . tbh , it was so disappointing that i would rate it 4/10 and list it in my Top 10 worst desserts i've ever tasted in my life .. (you know it's serious when i say "in my life") . definitely wouldn't visit again , not for people with a strong sweet tooth like me :/
