here's another part of my cafe hopping series - June ! note that most of my cafe hopping posts involve my boyfriend ahahah , i'll admit that we're both super clingy besides the fact that we both share a love in food , especially desserts :p
first off , we have Every Sundae at Damansara Uptown (right next to Village Park) . it's a small shop which opened it's doors this year , serving soft-serve ice-cream which seems to be all the rage now .
funny thing that happened on our visit : it was really crowded as we entered , so i quickly snagged an empty spot whilst my bf lined up to choose our dessert . once i sat down , the waiter asked me to leave the table and wait my turn as there were other people waiting for the table . no big deal haha so he took my name down and said he'd get me a table as soon as possible . 2 mins after that , he called my name and sat me down at the exact same table i snagged when i first walked in ... LOL why put me back at a table i was chased away from i don't get it ...
anyway !!! we ordered a personalized waffle with sundae on top . if you're too lazy to personalize your dessert , they have ready-made selections to pick from :)
ours was this : waffles topped with dark chocolate soft serve drizzled with chocolate sauce and paired with cheesecake cubes and chocolate chip cookie bits :) the price for this was RM19 in total ....... tad bit on the pricey side , and if you ask me , it isn't worth it :/
hi hensem ^_^
my verdict : liked the place and atmosphere , good lighting for photos , the waffles were pretty good and i liked how we got to mix and match our own dessert but all in all , the price was a major drawback and the taste of the softserve wasn't that fantastic either :/ not somewhere i would visit twice .
we also had the chance to visit The Frisky Goat in TTDI , a place i always wanted to try !! had been craving some good Eggs Benedict and so i googled "best eggs benedict in KL" and out popped this place !
yayyyy HEHHEHH i'm such a big fan of all things eggs !!! this Eggs Benedict was really special because it was placed atop fluffy waffles instead of the traditional English muffin .. it tasted really good too !!
boyfriend's waffle French toast was pretty good too
my verdict : food was good and reasonably priced (except the cake of course HAHA) , would visit again to try other food !!
not a cafe but me and tky visited Setia Alam pasar malam the other night YET AGAIN , for another food feast ... it was about to rain when we got there so we quickly dapao-ed everything we wanted and ended up with 4 types of fried chicken (XXL , salted egg yolk , Malay style and Chinese style) , apom balik , popiah , dimsum , Chinese fried dough , curry fishballs and ice-cream macaron sandwiches HAHAHAHA
again , not a cafe but me and Paggie visited this year's Bazaar Ramadhan at TTDI !! it was super crowded since we went on a Saturday evening and TTDI's Bazaar Ramadhan is known to be famous within the locals . anyway , love love malay food especially cekodok pisang (next to the apom balik) and satay !!! can't wait for next year's bazaar ramadhan already !!
