hi guys . this post was blogged at 12am , aka the time where i feel most tired . so i apologize if i end up with a super half-assed post :(
hair of the day , which was such a pity because it rained so bad that day , so my pretty hair didn’t get a chance to be pretty :( also , ew at my black roots
our matching grey + pink / turquoise OOTDs ! taken at the subway station because that was the only dry place haha
visited Bukchon Hanok Village , which was a historical village with old traditional korean houses !
according to visitkorea.or.kr :
Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses called 'hanok' that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name, 'Bukchon,' which literally translates to 'northern village,' came about as the neighborhoods that the village covers lie to the north of the two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture.
me shamelessly taking pics in front of somebody’s house haha
a compilation of alleyways hahaha . yeah that’s basically the village : rows and rows of beautiful old houses :D
walked around more in the rain and found this school (still in the village) !
you lucky Han Chiang bitches , get to visit :( me and le bro wanted to go in to explore the school while my sis was browsing in a kpop shop but we were restricted from going in D:
then we were hungry and the rain wasn’t helping so we decided to look for food !
LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PASTEL WINDOW DISPLAY OF THIS STORE !! i just had to take a picture with it HEHEHEH . too bad the store wasn’t open :(
found a japanese restaurant and decided on that cos we were hungryyyy
headed to Gwanghwamun Square after that to catch the famous statue of King Sejong but by the time we got out from the subway station , it was raining SO FREAKING HEAVILY that we didn’t even feel like going anymore .
so here’s a picture of King Sejong from where i was standing (opposite the road) :(
went back to the subway station after that :(
gosh the subway station toilets are so clean , not like Malaysia’s public toilets … ew
came out of the toilet and saw another view of King Sejong , this time from the front hahahaha
hi again King Sejong ! and people with multi- coloured umbrellas .
decided to go to Lotte Town after that to seek comfort in shopping !
alas ………… it was closed on Mondays . FOL seriously . :( it was not our lucky day , at all .
bought some burgers from Lotteria (which was open wtf) and went back to the hotel .
such a disappointing day .
but hey i managed to find a pink silicon case for baby white and a cute kitty pluggy to go with it ! :D
